whether you have ‘allergies’ to chemicals or not, I cannot recommend natural skin care enough. not only is natural skin care better for you, and your precious skin, it is 1 billion times better for the environment, not to mention the people manufacturing the stuff! I think the winning factor for me though, apart from all the natural goodness, is that it is simple. who wants to spend 14 hours in the bathroom trying to remember which product comes next in your regime?
if you are after something simple, easy, fresh, and Australian made, you must check out Botani. I have been a long time user and if ever I go without, my skin certainly knows about it. a cleanser and a moisturiser is really all you need, but if you want some extra niceness, add in a facial mist, it really is lovely.
I buy mine from Biome, which is a great little online store (with a real world store in Brisbane I believe). you can read about the range and find what type might be best for your skin. and don’t forget to stock up on some natural cleaning products while you are there!
